Target shopping trip: $1.66 total

Well, I had to get a prescription at Target today, so I quickly threw together a bunch of coupons to take along too. It turned out we got a number of items for only $1.66-- including the prescription:)

We got:
1 prescription (see the list for $4/30 day supply or $10/90 day supply here), $10
2 kid's Crest toothpastes, $1.97 each
1 Clorox toilet wand, $9.69
1 tube Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes, $2.99
1 bag Reese's Pieces, $2.69
2 small pouches of Starkist tuna, $0.94 each
1 Digiorno 200 Calorie pizza, $2.50
1 Neutrogena Ultra Sheer moisturizer/sunscreen, $8.99

Transaction 1:
Total: $10 for prescription
used two $5 gift cards I had previously received and also used a coupon from the 2/28 Target ad for a $10 gift card with new prescription

Transaction 2:
Total: $32.68
-(2) $1 manufacture coupons for kids Crest from 2/7 P&G

-(2) $1 coupons for any Starkist tuna pouch here
-$2.50 for DiGiorno (coupon for FREE pizza from Pssst...General Mills-- they surprised me with it in the mail)
-$0.10 for bringing in our own bags ($0.05 each)

New Total: $15.08, plus tax $16.66
-$10 gift card from transaction 1

Newer Total: $6.66
-$5 mail-in rebate for Clorox Toilet Wand

=$1.66!

  1. I was right there with Molly as this was happening and couldn't believe my eyes when we were checking out. Stacking these coupons and deals gets you stuff soooo cheap, i love it.
